Christopher "Ray" Huntsman

Christopher C. “Ray” Huntsman, 36, born on August 17, 1981 to Katherine Umphrey (Gingras) and father, Albert J. Bays, passed away on May 1, 2018 in Billings, MT.

Christopher was preceded in death by grandfathers, Edward Bays and Kenneth F. Gingras; grandmother, Phylis Gonzales; and a younger sister, Tonya Bell.

The light of Chris’ eyes was his beautiful daughter, Emma. He enjoyed listening to music and working on cars. He also loved spending time with his younger brother, Lyle, who brought great joy to his life. His best friend was Tyler Cates who knew him from high school. Chris had been married to Christina Geiber.

Christopher C. Ray will be missed by all that knew this good-hearted man.

He leaves behind a large family and friends too numerous to mention. Some of his family include his sisters, Kayleen Jean and Robin Ann; brothers, David, Josh, Robin Andrew, and Anthony; as well as his grandmother, Lavonn Bays.

Friends and family may gather on Saturday, May 5, 2018, from 3 PM – 6 PM at the Shrider-Thompson Funeral Home, Ronan.  A potluck will follow at Katherine Umphrey’s home in Ronan. Burial will take place on Monday, May 7, 10:00 AM at the Ronan Cemetery.
