Grace was preceded in death by Alton, her husband of 75 years, her sons Gale, Denny, Bill, daughter Phyllis, grandson Denny Bill and great grandson Ethan. She is survived by her grandchildren Bob, Dave, Tracy, Lorden, Tammy and Toni and their spouses Robin, Sharon, Cruz, Missy, JJ and Brandon respectively, and by 17 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
Grace was born June 17, 1915, in Big Fork, Montana, to Carl and Evah Simonis. She spent most of her life in the Flathead valley, meeting the love of her life, Alton, at age 16. Grace and Alton were wonderful hosts and many in the valley have great memories of days spent at the cabin on Flathead Lake. Grace truly lived up to her name sake and grace followed where ever she went. Her presence blessed all who knew her and her death will leave us all sad, but grateful for the many wonderful memories. Grace always welcomed everyone in the family and with open arms and a warm smile. She had the gift of making every person feel comfortable. Grace was "home" to so many of us.
