Rita Gallagher

Rita Lily-Anne Gallagher, 82, of Polson, MT, passed away of natural causes, February 11, 2017.  Her Catholic faith was important to her and she gained a lot of strength from it.  Never giving up and doing her best with what she knew and had was a guiding principle for her.  She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and reading.  Photography, history of the pioneers, and children were her passions.  Her quick wit and humor will be missed.

Her husband and son preceded her into the after-life.  She leaves behind six daughters and four sons, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, as well as many other extended family members.

Funeral Mass will be held at the Sacred Heart Parish in Ronan, Montana at 11:00 am, on February 21.  Burial will take place at the Calvary Cemetery in Ronan with a reception following.
