Ryan Dale Anderson

Ryan Dale Anderson, age 73, of Pablo, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2023.

Ryan was born on December 1, 1949, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to Jack and Viola Anderson. He lived with his family and attended school in Newcastle, Wyoming until he was 16, when his parents moved to Pablo.  He attended one year of high school in Ronan and at age 18, enlisted in the U.S. Army, January 11, 1968, serving in Germany. He was honorably discharged on December 16, 1969. He earned the National Defense Service Medal and Marksman M-14.

Ryan worked as a long-haul trucker and at a few different trucking companies in Washington, Wyoming, and Montana. He also worked as a sawyer and various other jobs including produce and meat cutter in grocery stores and greens keeper for golf courses.

His hobbies were camping, fishing, gold prospecting, metal detecting, listening to old vinyl records on his stereo, and riding his motorcycles.  He loved bartering and trading, and his most recent hobby was searching for good deals on motorcycles and vehicles. He truly had a heart of gold!

On October 1, 1989, he and two buddies founded the Mission Mt. Survivors MC.

Survivors include one brother Drew (Alice) Anderson, Columbia Falls; one sister Rita Lewis, Casper, WY; one aunt, three nephews, one niece, several cousins, two great-nephews and one great-niece.
