Shawn Fryberger

Shawn Wade Fryberger, age 53, passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula. He was born on October 17, 1967 in Coronado, CA to Joe and LaDonna (Hovde) Fryberger.

He joined the U.S. Marine Corps and served in the 8th Engineer Spt Bn 2d FSSG CLNC 28542 Engineer Equipment Mechanic and Corporal Engineer in Platoon 3097.

He married Wendy McConnell on April 4, 1998 at The Pablo Church of the Nazarene. They have two children, Hannah and Gage.

Shawn loved to coach Hannah’s softball team and Gage’s Little Guy Football team. He loved to watch any kind of sports on TV, especially NHRA racing and watching his beloved San Francisco Giants win in baseball.

He is survived by his wife Wendy Fryberger; daughter Hannah Rose Fryberger, son Gage Fryberger, his parents Joe and LaDonna Fryberger, brothers Steve and Lacey Fryberger and Todd and Teagan Fryberger and his sister Ann Pierce; Wendy’s parents,  Lyn and Sharyl McConnell her brother and sister Mike and Kristi Coleman and was loved by his nieces and nephews and many….many cousins.

Funeral services for Shawn will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at The Pablo Church of the Nazarene. Following the services there will be full military honors provided by the Veterans Honor Guard and the U.S. Marine Corps.

There will be a last ride convoy for Shawn with Republic Services Trucks.
